JUNIOR PROM TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE!

 

Junior Prom is Friday May 16th at Valleybrook Country Club from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

 

Tickets are available before or after school in South Cafeteria for $42 each on Monday, May 5th. A signed permission slip must be submitted at the time of purchase for each ticket.  Additional permission slips are available in the main office and the guidance office. Absolutely no tickets will be sold after Monday, May 5th. Please make checks payable to Baldwin High School and e-mail Mrs. Forgione if you have any questions - jforgione@bwschools.net.

 

 

SAT TEST - SATURDAY – MAY 3rd

 

Students taking the SAT on Saturday – remember to bring the following items: your admission ticket, calculator, #2 pencils, and photo ID. If you do not have a photo ID, please see your counselor. If you bring a cell phone, it must be turned off. Any student will be dismissed from the test if their cell phone is seen or heard.

Dance Team                    AUDITION INFORMATION FOR THE 2008-2009 BALDWIN HIGH SCHOOL DANCE TEAM:  Baldwin High School Dance Team auditions are open to any Baldwin student who is currently in grades 8, 9, 10 or 11. Previous dance experience is preferred, however is not mandatory to audition. Students may wear regular street clothes to the informational meeting. Proper dance attire will be required for the choreographic rehearsals and auditions.  Specifics will be described during the informational meeting.

ALL MEETINGS WILL BE HELD IN THE BALDWIN HIGH SCHOOL SOUTH CAFETERIA LOBBY (JUST INSIDE THE MAIN ENTRANCE TO BHS).

Hockey                             Baldwin Highlanders Ice Hockey will be taking registrations for the 2008-09 season at Ice Castle Arena on Sunday, May 4th, 1-4 p.m. and Wednesday, May 7th, 7-9 p.m. If you are unable to make it to Ice Castle, stop by the athletic office and pick up your registration packet.

 

The Baldwin Inline Hockey Club has extended its registration deadline to May 7th. The club is open to students in grades 6 through12. The season will begin in September. Registration forms are available in the school athletic office. A tentative tryout date has been set for

June 1st.

 

Scholarships                   The PASBO Scholarship is worth $1500 for the winner, $200 will be split between the second and third place finishers. If you are a senior who will attend college in the fall of 2008 and have at least an overall GPA of 3.25 for your high school career, a combined Reading and Math SAT of 120, and have a strong activities background you may apply. See Mr. Hall for an application. Applications will be due to Mr. Hall by May 10th.
